                               RESOLUTION NO. 19264
                  
                  
                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE INTERIM
                   ADMINISTRATOR OF THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC
                   WORKS AND THE CITY FINANCE OFFICER TO
                   EXECUTE AND ATTEST, RESPECTIVELY, AN
                   AGREEMENT WITH TRI-STATE TESTING & DRILLING
                   FOR PROVIDING TESTING SERVICES RELATIVE TO
                   THE DOWNTOWN STREETSCAPE AND PEDESTRIAN
                   ACCESS BEAUTIFICATION PROJECT, CONTRACT NO.
                   S-2-91, AT A COST NOT TO EXCEED FIVE
                   THOUSAND AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($5,000.00),
                   WITHOUT PRIOR APPROVAL.
                  
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the Interim Administrator of the
       Department of Public Works and the City Finance Officer be and 
are
       hereby authorized to execute and attest, respectively, an
       Agreement with Tri-State Testing & Drilling for providing testing 

       services relative to the Downtown Streetscape and Pedestrian
       Access Beautification Project, Contract No. S-2-91, at a cost not 

       to exceed $5,000.00, without prior approval.
